Get to know PLAY IT! PLUS - Hackathon Deeptech
(comPetition for Learning and Advancing Youth in Information Technology) PLAY IT! PLUS — Hackathon Deeptech is an Information Technology competition organized by the Malang State Polytechnic, as a form of expansion (extend) from the previous series of PLAY IT!. This Hackathon Deeptech activity was initiated by the Directorate General of Research and Development (Directorate General of Research and Development), Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology (Kemendiktisaintek), through the Research Downstream Program (Hiliriset). In the PLAY IT edition! PLUS, the scope of activities was expanded to reach participants up to the international level, with the format of activities reformulated into a Hackathon DeepTech with the single theme "Digitalization of AI", lowered into three areas of application: Health, Industrialization, and Food Security. This reformulation encourages participants not only to compete to build prototypes, but to design artificial intelligence-based solutions that answer real industry problems, departing from problem statements provided directly by industry partners. The output target is directed at prototypes that mature to a minimum viable product (MVP) stage and open further downstream lines with relevant industry partners.
